Scalp Micropigmentation
What is Scalp Micropigmentation?
Scalp Micropigmentation offers a
non-surgical alternative to hair
restructuring treatments.
Specialised needles implant
colored pigment into the scalp to
replicate hair follicles, create
densification and camouflage hair
loss.
It offers a successful outcome for
many patients experiencing male
and female pattern baldness,
receding hairlines, crow hair loss,
and long-term Alopecia. It can also
be used to camouflage scars on the
scalp.
So, what is Scalp
Micropigmentation?
SMP is most commonly known for its confidence
restoring 'shaved head look' procedures. However, the
SMP industry has evolved over recent years with
more treatments involving density boosting and
surgery complementing treatments.
The evolution of SMP has seen an increased uptake
of the diverse treatment options available for both
men and women with different hair loss concerns.
Scalp Micropigmentation is an advanced, non-
surgical hair loss treatment. Specialised needles and
pigments are used to disguise and camouflage hair
loss. The treatment can add the appearance of
increased density to thinning areas on the scalp or
give the illusion of a shaved head in areas of hair
loss.
The treatment is incredibly effective for many
different hair loss conditions varying from those with
alopecia, male patter
surgical scars, scars from burns, injury or medical conditions.
The results are expected to last 3-5 years depending on the client’s lifestyle and skin type.
Scalp Micropigmentation is suitable for all types and stages of hair-loss, on all ages, colours and skin types.
What does it do?
Scalp Micropigmentation can:
• Give the look of a full, youthful head of cropped hair
• Simulate a full-front, side and/or rear hairline
• Restore hairlines on part-bald or fully bald heads
• Camouflage – permanently – the symptoms of all levels of alopecia
• Camouflage scarring resulting from previous hair transplant surgery
• Hide scars, burns and birthmarks
• Boost the visual effect of a hair transplant
Scalp Micropigmentation for Crown Balding
Crown balding is one of the most common types of degenerative hair thinning and balding, usually making sufferers look older than their years and affecting self-confidence. Our treatment will rejuvenate the look of the crown, giving a completely realistic hairline and the ease of top-up treatment makes it ideal for the slowly developing crown thinning and balding process.
Scalp Micropigmentation for Hairline Receding
Balding men are in general agreement that baldness is a nuisance but they rarely agree on which is worse; crown balding pattern or receding. With Scalp Micropigmentation you don’t need to debate this any further; Scalp Micropigmentation will camouflage wherever your area of concern is, leaving you with a cropped, strong and attractive hairline.
Scalp Micropigmentation for Complete or Near Complete Hair Loss
Micro Pigmentation is often the ideal solution for clients who have suffered complete hair-loss. We are proud to be part of the solution which we have seen restore self-esteem in all ages of clients. We love that we sometimes hear Scalp Micropigmentation referred to as “sudden hairline gain”!
Scalp Micropigmentation for Women
Almost 5% of women suffer from hair loss/thinning conditions; we can carry out exactly the same treatment for women who then have the choice of short or longer hair, because even on long hair, the micro pigmented areas will be much less noticeable than the bare scalp previously was.
Scalp Micropigmentation for diffused hair loss
Diffuse hair loss can affect both sexes at any age and can be caused by anything that interrupts the normal hair cycle, including emotional stress, nutritional deficiencies, and endocrine imbalances. It can be a stressful event for any man or woman, and Scalp Micropigmentation is an incredibly effective solution, restoring confidence and looks.
Skin Type and Colour
Scalp Micropigmentation is suited to all skin types and colours, White, Afro-Caribbean, Latino, Asian and mixed-race. Our innovative technology matches your follicle colour to provide a seamless, invisible blended match with any existing hair
Who has micropigmentation and how is it used?
As we age, we will tend to change our opinion on the best look for our hair and hairline. Laser revision can be used for a completely new look, shape and colour, or to tweak to suit new fashions and trends.
All of these revisions are done using a laser application. Our pigment goes far less deep than skin tattooing so the laser removal is a much more straightforward and painless procedure, usually requiring only 1-2 sessions
